Help Your Child Build Confidence

Bullying and self-esteem issues is an epidemic upon our youth. I am here to help your child build confidence. To guide and help uncover what is there through the power of portraiture. Let me create a work of art that allows your child to see themselves in a new light. 

Believe it or not, this young man suffers from low self-esteem. Unbelievable, right? Nevertheless, it’s true. 

One of the biggest reasons why I love combining portraiture and art, is that it has the power to transform. Together they have the power to give people of all ages the belief that they are something more than that negative self-talk, or what others may label us as. 

I truly believe a portrait experience should be more than what the final outcome of the photo is. The photo itself should remind us of what we felt at that moment. The confidence we exuded. The fun we had in the creation. All of this and more is what should come to mind when we look at our portraits. 

For others observing, our portrait should get them to stop and ponder. To wonder who the character is. To feel the emotional weight behind the eyes staring back at them. 

So what was the story behind this shoot? Well, I wanted to create that old-fashioned, dapper gentleman look. A white shirt, a coat, and a newsboy hat was the perfect styling choice for this. I drew inspiration from the hit show Peaky Blinders to direct this young man toward confidence.
